A Christian school in Greeley where each student is known, guided, and challenged with care.
Trinity Lutheran School is a Christian school in Greeley, Colorado, serving students from preschool through eighth grade. It has served families in Greeley since 1946.
Our goal is to prepare students for a life that is spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually grounded in Christ. As children of a Heavenly Father who has redeemed us through His Son, Jesus Christ, students grow within a community shaped by faith, truth, and love.
Each student is known, guided, and challenged with care.
Through the combined effort of home, church, and school, we seek to form students who live thoughtfully, serve faithfully, and care for others.

Trinity Lutheran School is part of the ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church.
We are a Lutheran school, which means we stand within the historic Christian faith, confess the Scriptures as the Word of God, and center our life on Jesus Christ—crucified and risen for the forgiveness of sins.
In our teaching, students are grounded in:
Every subject is taught within this larger reality. Mathematics, language, science, history, and the arts are not separate from faith, but part of the world God has made and continues to sustain.

At Trinity Lutheran School, academic work is taken seriously. Students are taught to read carefully, write clearly, think logically, and approach their work with diligence and integrity.
Our curriculum is structured to build strong foundations over time. In the early years, students develop fluency in reading, writing, and number sense. As they grow, they take on more complex work in literature, mathematics, science, and history—learning not just to complete assignments, but to understand, question, and apply what they learn.
Teachers guide students step by step, helping them form good habits of attention, perseverance, and responsibility. Lessons are not rushed. Students are given time to practice, make mistakes, and grow in confidence.
We make use of time-tested curriculum alongside thoughtful instruction, aiming for both clarity and depth. Assessment is used to support learning and ensure progress, not simply to measure it.
Our goal is not only that students succeed academically, but that they become capable, attentive learners—prepared for the work set before them in high school and beyond.

Every week, our students process together from classroom to sanctuary — cross leading the way, hymns on their lips. Chapel is not an interruption to school. It is what school is for.
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom.”Colossians 3:16
Students learn the liturgy, the church year, the hymns of the faith. By the time they graduate, they know how to worship — not just on school days, but for life.
Parents are essential partners in the life of the school.
Education does not begin in the classroom, and it does not end there. We work together with families to support each child’s growth, recognizing that formation happens through shared life, consistent expectations, and meaningful relationships.
There are many ways for parents to be involved, and we seek to make that involvement natural and life-giving rather than burdensome.

At Trinity, students are not lost in the crowd. They are known—by name, by story, and by the particular ways they are growing.
Our classrooms are small enough for teachers to pay attention. Not just to academic progress, but to habits, friendships, strengths, and struggles. Teachers are present throughout the day, guiding, correcting, encouraging, and helping students take responsibility for their work and their conduct.
This kind of attention doesn’t come from a system alone. It comes from a shared life. Students learn alongside one another across grades, spend time outdoors together, and are shaped by consistent rhythms and expectations. Over time, this forms a community where students are seen, and where they learn to see and care for others as well.
