A congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, gathering each week around the gifts of Word, Baptism, and the Lord's Supper.
Trinity Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. We have worshiped together in Greeley since 1904 — through generations of families, through seasons of grief and joy, through all the ordinary Sundays that make up a life of faith.
“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”Romans 10:17

When you come, you will find a community gathered around God’s Word—people in need of what God gives.
Our worship follows a historic pattern of Scripture, prayer, and song that has shaped the Church for centuries. It is received and handed down over time, and centers on what God does for us in Christ.
You will hear readings from Scripture, a sermon that proclaims Christ and His work for us, and prayers and hymns that give voice to the faith of the Church. The Lord’s Supper is also at the heart of our life together, where Christ gives His body and blood for us—feeding us, forgiving us, and drawing us into a deeper communion with Himself and with one another. Much of the service is shared—spoken or sung together—as we participate in a common life of worship.
If this is new to you, it may take a little time to become familiar. Many find that this steady pattern becomes a gift, shaping their life over time in ways that are deeper than what we might create for ourselves.
You are welcome to participate as you are able, or simply to observe. You won’t be singled out or put on the spot. Wherever you find yourself, you are welcome to come and hear.
We believe that God has come to us in Jesus Christ—entering into our world, bearing our sin, and overcoming death. He comes to us in mercy, not waiting for us to ascend to Him, but giving what we could not attain: forgiveness, life, and peace.
This life is not our own work. It is given. In His Word, God speaks forgiveness. In His gifts, He gives what He promises. And through these, He lifts us up—restoring us to Himself and drawing us into His own life. This means that our hope rests not in what we accomplish, but in what God has done and continues to give.
As He gathers us, He forms us into His body. Week by week, we are joined together in a common life of prayer, praise, and love—receiving from Him and learning to live toward one another in mercy and faithfulness.
Our teaching is grounded in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, in which God speaks, and is confessed in the Lutheran tradition. We stand within the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church, receiving what has been handed down and passing it on faithfully.
Wherever you find yourself, you are welcome to come and hear.
Our confession of faith is set out in full in The Book of Concord, the historic confessional documents of the Lutheran Church.
